The Role
Sam&Sain Co. works with owner-led businesses on consulting and marketing. You’ll be the face of the videos we make for our clients and for Sam&Sain, from short social videos to brand films.
You’ll host, act and present with energy, working with our creative team, who plan, film and edit each piece.
What You’ll Do
- Host and act in short videos for social media, from product showcases to restaurant and hospitality features.
- Present to camera, deliver scripted lines and improvise when the moment calls for it.
- Interview owners, staff and customers on location.
- Bring ideas for trends, hooks and formats that suit each brand.
- Work with our creative team on shoots in Toronto or New York City, taking direction and doing multiple takes.
What We’re Looking For
- Upbeat energy and real confidence on camera.
- Experience hosting, acting, presenting or creating video content, for a brand, a business or your own channels.
- A reel, social account or video that shows you on camera.
- Reliable, open to direction and happy to travel to shoots around Toronto or New York City.
Experience with restaurants, hospitality or local businesses is useful. We’re interested in how you come across on camera and how you bring a brand to life.
Availability & Compensation
Tell us where you’re based and when you’re available. Include your compensation expectations and whether they are per project, day, hour or year.
In New York, the rate is US$17 to US$25 an hour.
