What We Collect

When you contact us, we collect the details you choose to give: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the type and size of your business, and your message. If you subscribe to our monthly note, we collect your email address and a record of your consent. We also collect basic information about how the website is used, such as pages visited, to improve it.

Job Applications

When you apply for a role, we collect your contact details, location, portfolio links, experience, tools, availability, compensation expectations and any optional information or CV/résumé PDF you provide. We use these details to review your application and contact you about that role. Application details and uploaded PDFs are stored in our private business system hosted by Cloudflare and sent to our company inbox through Resend. The application does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Application text and uploaded PDFs are not sent to our analytics services or saved in browser storage. Links and PDFs you supply are shared with the team reviewing applications; downloading a PDF from our business system requires an authorised account. We retain applications for the recruitment process and related follow-up, and you can request access, correction or deletion through our contact form.

Why We Collect It

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a consultation, and, if we work together, to deliver our services. If you subscribe, we use your email address only to send the monthly note, and every issue includes a way to unsubscribe. We do not sell personal information.

How We Measure Use of the Website

We use PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the United States, to measure page visits, progress through the guided questions and whether a request succeeds. It stores a randomly generated identifier in your browser. Our analytics events exclude form text, contact details and URL query strings. We do not enable session recording or automatic recording of clicks and form interactions. Analytics is switched off if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We use this information to improve the site.

The guided questions also save your selected choices in this browser so you can return to them. Your contact details and anything you type into the questions are not saved in browser storage. Choosing “Start again” clears the saved choices.

Who We Share It With

We use Vercel to host the website, Resend to send notifications and manage newsletter subscriptions, Gmail for our company correspondence and consent records, and PostHog to measure site use. Enquiries go to our company inbox. Project enquiries, booking requests, privacy requests and client complaints are also copied to Saif for follow-up. These services may process information outside Canada.

When you book a consultation through the guided questions, your booking details and your answers to those questions are stored in our internal business system, which is hosted by Cloudflare, so the partners can prepare for the call. Our team also receives an internal notification through Discord with your name, your business and the time of the call. These services may also process information outside Canada.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as the law requires.

Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent to be contacted at any time.
